I have lived in Cuxton for more than 50 years and both my children attended Cuxton Schools.
I worked for BT for over 40 years. I have been a member of Cuxton Social Club since 1970 and was treasurer for the clubs' football teams for a spell. I was also treasurer of Cuxton Community Trust for over 4 years.
I am fully behind a non-political parish council which acts for the benefit of the residents of Cuxton.
My father, Alan Burley, was an independent Cuxton Parish Councillor in the late ‘60s and ‘70s. I would love the opportunity to follow in his footsteps and make a positive contribution to the village.
